  • My product is faulty. What do I do?

    We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories. During the warranty period you will receive a replacement product from the retailer if available. For full warranty conditions you can consult: https://www.trust.com/support/warranty

  • Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?

    Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products. A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.

  • Does the product function on Mac-computers?

    This product has been developed for use with the Windows operating systems only. Therefore installation instructions for other operating systems such as Mac are not available.

  • Why does the LED turn green?

    The LED will turn green when it is reading the inserted DNI- or smartcard.

  • My new smart card doesn't function.

    Make sure the smart card is inserted with the chip facing up. On newer cards, the chip may be located on the back side, so you need to turn over the card before inserting it in the card slot.

  • Is the card reader compatible with DNI 3.0?

    The card reader is compatible with all DNIe and SmartCards but does not include the NFC technology that carries the DNI 3.0. According to the website of the Ministry of Interior, to use the wireless functionality of the DNI 3.0 it will only be necessary to have: - A smartphone or tablet phone with NFC technology. - App of the service you want to connect to.

  • How does the card reader function?

    The function of the DNIe Card reader device is basically to read the DNI or Smartcard. Depending on the public service that you want to connect to, a specific program must be installed. These programs are provided by the services themselves and are usually available from the web pages of each of these services.

  • Where is the driver?

    The card reader is a Plug & Go device which means that the system should install the appropriate drivers automatically.
